Can't find what you need? Call us

Following the launch of our updated website back in March, we’re delighted to report a steady increase in the number of visitors and enquiries generated by the recent makeover.
As we all know, updating your message and look is never an easy task - how do you ever know when to stop, and what is right?
But, working closely with our graphic designer, a local photographer and web team, we’re delighted with the result and, judging by customer feedback, it’s easier to navigate too!
However our message, and most importantly our people, remain the same – we are a small team dedicated to providing good quality, affordable print alongside excellent customer service.
The new website simply provides a more solution-based approach which better showcases the wide range of print, packaging and marketing products we are able to offer.
We are always grateful for your reviews and comments so please do get in touch with us soon! Thank You!

Walton Press - we do packaging as well as print!

With 2019 well underway we've been busy working on a new product packaging project involving the design, print and production of a range of recyclable cardboard display hangers for both retail and mail order. With the renewed global interest in reducing plastic waste, our client has committed to replacing plastic with recyclable cardboard.
Well Done Martin!!!!
Some 378 days later than expected, Walton Press Director, Martin Smith, (58), finally completed his challenge to run the Bath Half Marathon!
After dedicated training at the beginning of last year, his plans to run in 2018 were scuppered by the ‘Beast from the East’ which caused the Bath Half to be cancelled just 2 days before the race.
Disappointed, but not downhearted, he vowed to complete the race in 2019 and on Sunday 17 March, under bright skies, Martin finished the race in a creditable 2 hours, 15 minutes and 14 seconds which, by coincidence, was exactly the same time as he clocked for the same race in 2013!

Thanks to the kind support of many customers, family and friends, he raised well over £1,200.00 for the company’s chosen charity – The Lymphoedema Support Network – a comparatively small charity which provides vital support for those living with Lymphoedema.

Martin’s legs are slowly recovering but he now says his half marathon days are definitely behind him! That said, he has already entered the annual Glastonbury Road Run – a 10K race around the Tor – on Sunday 5 May, 2019. Walton Press are delighted to sponsor this local event and Martin is very much looking forward to running the shorter distance!
In 2018, we were delighted to help with the publication of 'The seduction of Mr Pettigrew', a brilliantly funny book written by the late Philip Herriman of Pitney.
Very much Mr Bean meets Frank Spencer, the hilarious tales of a man plagued by happen-chance and his series of misadventures whilst being pursued by the indomitable Mrs Mountjoy.
We're pleased to report that Mr Pettigrew is selling well and we've already been asked to quote for a reprint.
We're also delighted to be supporting the late author's wife, Coleen Herriman, in her charity fund-raising, with all proceeds from the sale of the book being donated to St. Margaret's Hospice and The Brain Tumour Research Campaign.
If you'd like to purchase a copy of this hilarious book, which costs £9.99, then please do get in touch with Coleen directly by e-mail. Thank you for your support.

Hopefully Spring is on its way at long last bringing longer days, lambs gambolling in the fields, and the first daffodils, snowdrops and crocuses.
It doesn’t seem five minutes ago that it was Christmas, but we’ve spent the last few months here at Walton Press re-designing our website to provide a more solution-based approach to better showcase the wide range of print and marketing products we are able to offer.
We launched the new look on 1st March (hopefully you've noticed!) and are always grateful for your comments or feedback, so please do get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!

As our final blog of 2018, we’d like to take the opportunity to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

We’ve taken the decision not to send company Christmas Cards this year - instead we’ll be making a donation to our 2018 charity, the Lymphodema Support Network.

November brings darker nights, spectacular fireworks and of course the famous and amazing Somerset Carnival season to lighten the mood!
As hinted in our new website image, Walton Press are proud and enthusiastic supporters of Glastonbury Carnival. In fact, it has a special meaning for us as the Carnival is where Directors Sandy and Martin first met some 28 years ago - and the rest, as we all know, is history!
We've been working with the local community for all those years, supporting many good causes and also acting as 'partners in print' for a number of local and community organisations and charities.
So, we'd urge you to follow our lead and support the Carnival by giving generously, which benefits the many local charities and community projects that receive Carnival donations.
This year's Carnival is on Saturday November 17th - enjoy the Fun!

Now that we’re rapidly approaching the end of October (and we think it’s safe to mention it) our customers are beginning to think about Christmas!

Specifically, they’re considering options for their Christmas Card designs and messages of goodwill, as well as 2019 Calendars, for staff, suppliers and customers.

We have a wide range of options, from cards with stock images to those selected for your own customised design and personalised messages. Many can also include a donation to a preferred charity.

So, don’t leave it to the last minute - why not get in touch soon to discuss your requirements and options. We’d love to help!
Sandy Smith, MD of Walton Press, recorded such an interesting and informative interview on Glastonbury FM that it was broadcast twice on the business programme, most recently on 7th September. Her fascinating and informative chat with business presenter Alan Philpott is well worth a listen! Read more and get a link to the podcast...
August has been a very busy month, especially on the Book front!

Sandy and Martin were delighted to attend the Book Launch for a delightful book that we were asked to produce: ‘The Complete Works of William Catcott’.

This was a community project to publish the poetry of William Catcott, a local baker fondly named ‘The Baker Bard of Wells’, who wrote poetry as he worked his dough and delivered his loaves to the people of Wells back in the 1800’s.
We’re also hard at work on another Book, intriguingly titled: ‘The seduction of Mr PETTIGREW’.

This is very much Mr Bean meets Frank Spencer - the hilarious tales of a man plagued by happen-chance and his series of misadventures whilst being pursued by the formidable Mrs Mountjoy.

Sandy has had the privilege of proof-reading this delightful book and has been chuckling away in the office at Mr. Pettigrew’s antics!
If you're writing a book, or have a manuscript that you'd like to self-publish, then why not give us a call - we're able to produce a wide range of book formats and have plenty of experience, so we'd love to hear from you!
